Yesterday, the framing for our solar panels was attached to the roof, with flashing to protect against any leaking. And we had a lovely sunny day for it. The installers take the weekend off, and return on Monday to do the next steps.

Exciting…we’ve had solar panels now for a number of years and really enjoy having them and the energy independence they provide us, especially when the grid is down.
Ironically, these grid tied panels also go down when the grid is down–maybe later we’ll get a Tesla battery for that back up.
That would be great; the batteries are pretty expensive but worth it.
